| We moved to Franklin in 1995 after relocating from NY/CT to the Boston area. At the time, there wasn't much to do here. Since then, the town has grown so much that it's now officially a city. Annual events include the Water Ban, a personal favorite, which lasts from April until October. This event ensures a steady income from fines imposed upon the green-grassed populace.

We are located within 5 to 10 minutes of a train (2 stations) to Boston, 5 minutes from a major interstate, I-495, 35 - 40 minutes from Providence Airport (T. F. Green) and 1 hour from Logan Airport in Boston. So you see, Franklin is a very convenient place to live.

From our backyard weather station. The "ShedCam" takes an occasional snapshot of the atmospheric conditions and sends that down to the web, too.
